The Big Lie

Tactic popularized by the Clintons, adopted by the liberal democrats, and currently used by the MSM :

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” (Joseph Goebbels)

It's also the modus operandi of dictatorial totalitarian regimes like that of Khamenei in Iran and Kim Jung-Il in N. Korea and Castro in Cuba (among others).

Coincidence?

The 'Big Lie' of Goebbels is a far different animal than the litany of lies from the political Left. The Left is also thoroughly convinced of the 'lies' being told by the Right, especially by Mr. Bush.

The only way to obtain an objective truth is to encourage BOTH sides to tell their respective truths, and then trust the public to measure and way, over the test of time, which is closer to the objective truth.

For Hitler or the ayatollahs, their distrust of their fellow human beings necessitates refusing to allow the public to observe alternative or contrary truth; hence, tell the 'Big Lie,' and tell it often.

Gosh, it's the 'a duoist' again! Give Chester peace, okay?

Hello Chester. No, I do not believe it is a coincidence. They are all Communists. That is including the Left in the Democrat party, as well.

If you disagree, 'a duoist', just look at how some of them used to register (and some still do.)

You are off to a great start. Please continue to write your thoughts. I will be back to read them. :)
